The Society was founded in and as in it has over members, --professional researchers, graduate students and professionals in practice-- in various human services such as nursing, healthcare, medicine, caregiving, rehabilitation, social work, clinical psychology, school education, business management and in sociology. And, in addition to the Tokyo Society, there are branches in western Japan, northern island of Hokkaido, and southern island of Kyushu. The main activities of the Society are its regular workshops. In Tokyo, workshops are held every other month mainly at Rikkyo University.

He has worked with firms worldwide to develop effective employee incentive compensation systems and his work has been published in Marketing Science , Management Science , Journal of Marketing Research , and the Harvard Business Review. His current work examines how specific elements of an incentive compensation system affect the performance and selection of varying types of sales employees. Professor Chung earned his Ph.
